The “CT” stands for Claude Troisgros, one of Rio de Janeiro’s most celebrated chefs, who moved to Brazil more than three decades ago. His flagship restaurant, Olympe, has long impressed diners, but CT Boucherie is a newer addition to his collection of eateries.
As its name suggests, CT Boucherie focuses on exceptional meat dishes and is widely considered one of the best places in the city for premium cuts. A standout is the Prime Rib Especial, a beautifully prepared bone-in cut of beef cooked to perfection. The restaurant also reinvents the traditional Brazilian barbecue concept with an unlimited rodízio of delicious side dishes, turning the classic format on its head in the most satisfying way.
