Pain de Provence

On the back streets of Cannes 10 minutes’ walk from the Croisette is this ferric bakery with perfect croissants. These smallish delights are flaky on the outside and cloud like on the inside. Go in the morning and try them straight from the oven with a freshly pressed expresso.
