A speciality and delicacy of southern Bavaria and northern Austria. The Steckerlfisch is a simple and yet very tasty grilled fish on a stick. Freshly caught fish that is marinated in oil, herbs and garlic and thereafter put on a stick and grilled over charcoal to perfection, with the head down.
