A Casa do Bacalhau or “House of Codfish” is just that – a restaurant dedicated to the Bacalhau or codfish that is known as the national dish of Portugal. The most famous dish here is Bacalhau a Bras – a delicious stir fry of codfish, rice, scrambled farm eggs, and onions, garnished with black olives.
