From his tiny shop in the Santa Croce neighborhood, owner Carlo Pistacchi proudly presides over his creative, homemade gelato of fresh milk, organic eggs, seasonal fruit, nuts and more. These are no ordinary frozen treats. The day’s flavors could include ginger and dark chocolate, lemon with mint and fig, artichoke or arugula and orange.
