Bar Bergara

Famous for its award-winning skewered pinchos, Bergara is a classic spot owned by Patxi Bergara in the Gros district. The Revuelto de Anchoas, featuring soft scrambled eggs filled with sweet peppers and savory fresh anchovies, is a winner. Other top choices include a puff pastry boat with mushrooms and prawns, monkfish with seafood creme in mille feuille; and anchovies on a bed of bacon, cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms.
