Doña Tina

Chilean

Before it became the beloved Doña Tina, this now-iconic restaurant was simply a vacant lot on the eastern edge of Santiago. Its story began humbly, with owner Agustina Gómez selling homemade bread just outside the property. Over time, her passion and perseverance transformed the space into one of the capital’s most celebrated destinations for traditional Chilean cuisine, now accommodating up to 600 guests.

At the heart of its success are two signature dishes: the Plateada a lo Pobre and the Pastel de Choclo. Both have been carefully refined over the years, as Doña Tina experimented with ingredients and techniques to perfect their flavors. The plateada, in particular, stands out for its tenderness and depth, showcasing slow-cooked beef at its most flavorful.

Today, Doña Tina is more than just a restaurant—it’s a year-round culinary landmark that honors Chilean heritage while delivering a warm, authentic dining experience.
